Shipping Clerk & Forklift Operator

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our team. This position is responsible for preparing, processing, and coordinating outgoing shipments while maintaining accurate inventory and shipping records. The ideal candidate will have computer skills, forklift experience, and the ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process shipping documents, packing slips, labels, and bills of lading.
• Verify outgoing shipments for accuracy and completeness.
• Load, unload, move, and organize materials and products within the warehouse.
• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to transport inventory and shipments.
• Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records using company computer systems.
• Coordinate with warehouse, production, and customer service teams to ensure timely shipments.
• Inspect products and packages for damage prior to shipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Previous shipping, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred.
• Forklift experience required; forklift certification is a plus.
• Basic computer proficiency, including data entry and use of shipping software.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a positive work ethic.

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 60 pounds regularly.
