Job Description

Responsible for the accurate fulfillment, packaging, and shipment of dental prosthetic products in a high-volume order fulfillment environment. This role ensures dental prosthetic orders are picked, verified, packed, and shipped accurately to customers worldwide, while maintaining quality, and compliance.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Collect dental prosthetic products from quality control stations on an hourly basis and prepare them for shipment.
  • Pick, inspect, verify and fulfill customer orders at shipping station, including paperwork, invoice, and shipping label.
  • Process manual shipments, both domestic and international, as needed.
  • Perform stock checks and monitor inventory levels of shipping and packaging supplies
  • Troubleshoot orders that do not process automatically using SAP and shipping software to ensure orders are processed and shipped on time.
  • Participate in the creation, review, editing, and updating of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Participate in continuous improvement meetings; ensure operator understanding and participation of the improvement activities.
  • Conduct weekly 5S and workplace safety audits and support a culture of operational excellence and workplace safety.
  • Assist with onboarding and training new shipping associates.
  • Ensure compliance with local and global Quality Management Systems (QMS) and established procedures.
  • Support internal and external quality audits as required.
  • Assist in investigating customer shipping complaints and/or order discrepancies.
  • Participate in a Saturday work rotation with team members, subject to business needs.
  • This position requires employees to work on company-observed holidays when those holidays are designated as scheduled operational workdays.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the supervisor and/or plant management.

Job Requirements:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Critical Knowledge and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles is a plus (Yellow Belt or Green Belt certification preferred).

Critical Skills/technical know-how:

  • Working understanding of order fulfillment, picking, packing, and shipping operations
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications; SAP experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with shipping software, barcode scanning systems, and inventory management systems preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet shipment deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills.
  • Professional English proficiency (speaking, reading, and writing).
  • Ability to follow procedures and instructions accurately to completion.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Must be able to lift and move objects weighing up to 45 pounds.

Critical Experience:

  • 2-4 years of experience in order fulfillment, warehouse operations, shipping, logistics, or distribution required.
  • Experience supporting domestic and international shipments preferred.

Target Market Salary Range:

Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed reasonable estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Envista, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.

$22.80 - $27.50 per hour
