The Technical Ceramics business of Morgan Advanced Materials engineers high performance functional and structural ceramic materials, components and sub-assemblies to address customer-specific technical challenges.

Responsibilities

Major Responsibilities: The Shipping Clerk is responsible for performing clerical and physical tasks in connection with shipping goods and packaging incoming product.

  • Coordinates and schedule all outbound loads and coordinate with sales and production.
  • Verifies shipping documents and records any discrepancies.
  • Set up all loads to be shipped common carrier with outside freight companies.
  • Coordinates routing of orders, and dispatches carrier with orders and appropriate delivery instructions consistent with customer receiving times.
  • Maintains proper documentation and records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • May assists loading and unloading material from trucks or carts.
  • Pack, weigh, and label completed items
  • Inspects and packs product according to customer specifications
  • Maintain a clean work area
  • Prepares various reports and correspondence as required.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma/ GED.
  • Experience in manufacturing or related field is preferred.
  • Basic shop skills, such as using hand tools.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Strong communication skills and desire to work with other team members

Eligibility:

  • Citizen of the United States, or
  • Permanent Resident alien of the United States, or
  • Protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C 1344b(a)(3) as defined by 22CFR120.15

Salary: $20 - $24 hourly DOE
