Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience handling shipping operations, specifically using FedEx and UPS systems. This role is crucial in ensuring the accurate and timely shipping of products to our customers while maintaining a high standard of efficiency and organization.

Salary $18/HR

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:30am to 5:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process shipments using FedEx and UPS software and systems.
• Accurately pick, pack, and label outgoing packages according to shipping requirements.
• Verify shipping documentation, including invoices and shipping labels, for accuracy.
• Coordinate with carriers to schedule pick-ups and resolve shipping issues as needed.
• Maintain an organized and clean shipping area to ensure workflow efficiency.
• Track shipments and provide updates to internal teams or customers as required.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and ensure proper stock levels for shipping supplies.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and company procedures to ensure secure handling of products.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a shipping clerk or similar role, with hands-on knowledge of FedEx and UPS systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling shipping documentation.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with inventory management and warehouse operations is a plus.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in shipping software and MS Office Suite.
• Physical ability to lift packages up to [insert weight limit, e.g., 50 lbs] and stand for extended periods.
