DIS-TRAN Steel is looking to add a Shipping Clerk at the Pineville Plant, located in Pineville, LA.
The Shipping Clerk serves as a clerical representative for shipping purposes. This individual creates and manages documents such as the bill of ladings for the Plant. The Shipping Clerk does other clerical duties as assigned by the Shipping Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Checking of Open Jobs
- Typing Black Steel BOLs
- Keeping Track of Bolts
- Ordering Supplies for the Yard
- POD Tracking
- Using tablet for Black Steel Load Sheets
- Assisting others in Shipping Related Technological Needs
- Aid in Integrating New Systems
REQUIREMENTS FOR SHIPPING CLERK:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience working in a clerical position in a manufacturing / production environment preferred.
- Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook is preferred.
- Epicor experience preferred.
