We are on a journey of continuous growth – now looking for our next star – a passionate Shipping and Receiving Clerk. This position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and will work in Pompano Beach, FL.

As Shipping and Receiving Clerk of the Pompano Beach, FL team, you will be involved in unloading delivered shipments and comparing the Packing Lists to Purchase Orders, ensuring accuracy of deliveries. In addition, assisting with receiving and putting away material in the warehouse.

General Responsibilities

  • Unload delivery trucks and make sure that each incoming delivery matches the company Purchase Order.
  • Arranging unloaded goods in a manner that optimizes the space in the Receiving area.
  • Documenting damaged deliveries to assist the company with the claims process.
  • Accurately processing and labeling incoming goods in multiple ERP systems.
  • Investigate and correct Receiving issues that impact invoice payment.
  • Ensure that all goods systematically stored in the Receiving locations are cleared.
  • Perform inventory cycle counts and transactions, as needed.
  • Assist the warehouse team with pulling of Job Orders, as needed.

Skills & Requirements

The ideal candidate for this role will bring demonstrated success in (operational/engineering/manufacturing/etc.) environment. Additionally, they will have acquired the following qualifications and experiences:

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Prior Warehouse experience required.
  • Forklift experience required.
  • Prior Manufacturing Stockroom experience preferred.
  • Familiar with production and inventory systems.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer skills: experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to lift 75-100 pounds.
