Job Location: MARIETTA OFFICE - MARIETTA, GA 30062
Position Type: Full Time IndirectThe Shipping and Receiving Associate is responsible for accurate receipt, identification, documentation, packaging, and shipment of materials and equipment. This role ensures materials are handled correctly, documentation is completed with high accuracy, and work is performed efficiently in a warehouse environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform initial receipt inspections on purchased items and customer products
- Identify materials and jobs at the time of receipt
- Review and process documentation in preparation for equipment shipment
- Package and ship items according to specified or appropriate requirements
- Maintain housekeeping of the Shipping and Receiving area
- Follow carrier shipping requirements and internal Quality Assurance procedures

QualificationsRequired Experience and Skills:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- High attention to detail with documentation and equipment
- Ability to self-evaluate work accuracy
- Ability to focus on routine tasks in a busy environment
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Mechanical aptitude to recognize different types of equipment
- Ability to routinely lift up to 50 lbs as often as 60 times per day
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment without heat or air conditioning
- Sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Understanding of how accuracy in routine tasks supports customer satisfaction
- Willingness to work occasional overtime
- Experience using UPS and FedEx shipping software is desirable
- Forklift certification is desirable
- Experience with database programs such as SharePoint or MudCats is desirable

Work Conditions:
- Warehouse environment without climate control
