The Shipping & Receiving Associate is responsible for performing all necessary duties as follows;
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery and or pick-up according to schedule.
- Move materials within the warehouse to facilitate production.
- Maintains inventory of the Eagle Mountain Casino warehouse.
- Maintains all necessary documents and records of all orders and deliveries.
- Conducts physical inventory of received merchandise, as well as supplies and equipment.
- Communicate and collaborate with Team Members and vendors.
- Perform clerical duties, including computer data entry and be required to use inventory software.
- Operate and maintain warehouse equipment (forklift and pallet jack).
- Follow existing policies and procedures, all applicable laws, and safety regulations when driving company owned vehicle.
- Moves, loads, and unloads materials to and from Eagle Mountain Casino.
- Inspects vehicle daily according to checklist and ensures vehicle is clean and fueled daily, as well as serviced according to schedule.
- All other departmental duties as assigned.
QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- - Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
- - High school diploma or equivalent
- - Must possess a valid driver’s license, and be insurable through the casino’s insurance carrier.
- - One (1) year experience in warehousing, storage, distribution, inventory, or production.
- - Must have knowledge of inventory and record keeping methods.
- - Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
- - Working knowledge of computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and ability to learn and use an inventory software system.
- - Knowledge of office equipment including copier, fax, etc.
- - Must be able to obtain and retain a gaming license through the Tule River Tribe Gaming Commission.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL:
- - While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, and sit.
- - Repeatedly required to reach with hands and arms, use hand to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- - Must be able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations.
- - Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- - Must be able to perform in outdoor environments with frequent exposure to unpredictable weather conditions including heat, rain, cold and wind.
- - The noise level is usually moderate, increasing to loud when on the casino floor.
- - Exposed to cigarette smoke, and loud noise when on the casino floor.
- - Must be able to perform all essential duties of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
