Shipping & Receiving Clerk – Day Shift

Compensation Range: $24.00 – $28.00/hr + 10% Shift Differential

About the Opportunity

A well-established Cincinnati-area manufacturing operation is adding a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to its night shift team. This is a direct-hire, full-time role with a compressed 4x10 schedule — Monday through Thursday — giving you a three-day weekend every week. If you have warehouse experience, forklift certification, and a strong eye for detail, this is a stable opportunity with competitive pay and full benefits.

What You'll Do

• Pull orders from warehouse shelves accurately, verifying item identification and quantities prior to shipment
• Package outbound orders for local and out-of-town shipments, ensuring invoices are visible and properly secured
• Process incoming 'wrap and pack' shipments — writing invoice numbers, comparing packing slips to purchase orders, counting items, and flagging discrepancies
• Enter purchase orders and incoming shipments into the computer system; generate and attach shipping tickets to outbound packages
• Process return shipments to manufacturers for repair or replacement
• Support general warehouse maintenance and assist team as directed by management

What You'll Need

• General knowledge of warehouse procedures and shipping/receiving workflows
• Forklift experience required
• Comfortable with computer data entry — able to enter POs, receipts, and generate shipping documentation
• Strong attention to detail — ability to catch and document discrepancies between packing slips and purchase orders
• Ability to read and follow written instructions
• High school diploma or equivalent
