Job Description

Koch Finishing Systems (KFS) designs and builds industrial finishing systems used by manufacturers around the world. We're looking for a detail-oriented, hands-on Shipping and Inventory Control professional to join our Caledonia team and help keep our materials, parts, and equipment moving accurately and on schedule.

What You'll Do

  • Plan and coordinate the packaging and shipment of parts, materials, and large capital equipment, including domestic and international freight.
  • Obtain shipping quotes, schedule shipments, and determine the best transportation method for each job.
  • Prepare export/import documentation, including HTS classification and commercial invoices.
  • Receive incoming materials and verify accuracy against purchase orders.
  • Perform inventory transactions, cycle counts, and physical inventory counts to keep records accurate.
  • Maintain organized, accessible storage in the parts crib, warehouse, and project bays.
  • Partner with Purchasing and Production Planning to resolve material shortages and shipping issues quickly.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in shipping/receiving, logistics, or inventory management, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Experience with inventory cycle counts and ERP/inventory management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently (up to 75 lbs. occasionally with assistance) and operate material handling equipment such as a forklift or pallet jack.
  • Clear communicator who works well across teams and can juggle shifting priorities.
