Job Description

Be Part of the Journey:

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Shipping Administrator to join our head office based in Mulgrave. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth movement of inbound shipments, providing accurate logistics information, and supporting the delivery of products to our warehouses and customers.

In this role, you'll collaborate with freight forwarders, suppliers, warehouses, and internal stakeholders to keep our supply chain running smoothly, ensuring timely product delivery, cost efficiency, and a positive customer experience.

A Day in the Life:

  • Coordinator and track inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery to warehouses and customers while proactively managing delays and expectations.
  • Maintain accurate shipping documentation, freight records and shipment data within SAP and other business systems.
  • Obtain freight quotations, review freight-related invoices for accuracy and support freight cost analysis and budgeting activities.
  • Prepare and maintain logistics reports, including Goods in Transit (GIT), Open Purchase Orders and Direct Container reporting.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, freight forwarders, custom brokers, warehouse providers and other key stakeholders.
  • Provide timely shipment updates, respond to logistics enquiries and escalate issues to minimise disruption to the business and customer experience.
  • Support a customer-first culture through proactive communication, collaboration and continuous improvement of processes.


About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience within logistics, shipping, supply chain or a degree within the related field.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Sound analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience using SAP (preferred) and Microsoft Excel.
