Job Description

Essential Job Functions

• Assemble Bills of Lading and packing slips, complete with billing information, weights carrier pro's, etc.
• Analyze room requirements needed and call in the carrier to pick up product.
• Prepare product for shipment using standard shipping practices; including proper pallets, labels, tags, bar codes, etc...
• Load shipping containers.
• Process parts shipments via UPS and FedEx ground software. Assemble and pack items as required.
• Maintain department and products in an organized manner. Assist or fill in for Warehouseman as required.
• Operate and Maintain fork truck, overhead crane, banding and stretchwrap equipment as required

Requirements

Physical Requirements:

• The ability to wear safety glasses, earplugs, gloves, safety-toe shoes, and a dust mask.

• Constant use of hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things.

• The ability to frequently exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects, materials

• Considerable amount of use with arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.

• Standing for 8 or more hours everyday

• Must be able to lift to 60 lbs.

Work Environment:

• The job is within an industrial environment which requires work within various areas. The environmental conditions can be hot, cold, dirty, greasy, wet, and noisy.
