AAA USA is hiring Pipe Fitters, Ship Fitters, & Structural Welders for major shipbuilding projects.

We are seeking experienced skilled trades professionals — including Pipe Fitters, Ship Fitters, and Structural Welders — to join our team on major shipbuilding and repair projects. These positions play a critical role in the construction, installation, and repair of shipboard structures, piping systems, and welded assemblies, ensuring projects are completed to the highest quality and safety standards.

Essential Functions:

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.
• Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair ship structures, piping systems, and foundations.
• Perform cutting, grinding, fitting, and welding tasks on various ship components.
• Safely operate tools and equipment such as torches, welding machines, grinders, and measuring instruments.
• Inspect completed work to verify quality and compliance with specifications.
• Work in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying environmental conditions.
• Follow all OSHA and shipyard safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in shipbuilding, repair, or heavy industrial trades.
• Ability to perform fitting, fabrication, and welding tasks with precision.
• Familiarity with welding processes (SMAW, FCAW, GMAW) and pipefitting techniques.
• Strong understanding of shipyard safety practices and procedures.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor in challenging environments.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced project settings.
• Welding certifications (AWS, ABS, or equivalent).
• NCCER or similar craft certifications.
