Job Title: Shipbuild Completions Manager

Location: Rosyth, Fife – Hybrid Working Available

Compensation: £56,570 - £66,229

The role

As a Shipbuild Completions Manager, you'll be responsible for managing operational compartment completions in line with project acceptance strategies, helping to deliver critical defence capability for the nation. You'll play a key role in driving schedule adherence, improving performance, and building strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

Day-to-day, you’ll be required to:

  • Managing workload delivery to meet contract requirements while achieving cost, schedule, and quality targets.
  • Establishing and promoting safe working practices in line with company policies and standards.
  • Setting, monitoring, and reporting compartment completion targets to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Taking ownership of the compartment completion process to enable workfaces to achieve programme milestones.
  • Liaising with planning, materials, warehousing, quality, and support teams to drive a coordinated delivery approach..

This role is full time, 36 hours per week and is based at Rosyth. Hybrid working patterns are available.

Essential experience of the Shipbuild Completions Manager:

  • Extensive recent experience within a marine, shipbuilding, or maritime engineering environment.
  • Experience working within planning, project delivery, or production management functions.
  • Ability to apply practical, common-sense problem-solving skills in a complex operational environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with experience building effective customer and stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience working within fast-paced, time-critical production or manufacturing environments.

Qualifications for the Shipbuild Completions Manager:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Degree qualification in Engineering, Project Management, Marine Studies, or a related discipline.

The successful candidate must be a sole UK National who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
