JD – Senior Systems Engineer (Network & Infrastructure)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure.
• Manage Arista and Cisco switching environments, including Layer 2/3 networking, routing, and switching.
• Administer Fortinet firewalls, VPNs, and network security controls.
• Support Cisco wireless infrastructure, including WLCs and access points.
• Administer Linux servers, patching, performance tuning, and core infrastructure services.
• Support hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
• Participate in disaster recovery, business continuity, and infrastructure improvement initiatives.
• Serve as a senior escalation point for complex issues and participate in on-call support.
• Support infrastructure projects, deployments, and operational improvements.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of enterprise infrastructure and network engineering experience.
• Strong experience with:
  • Arista and Cisco networking
  • Fortinet firewalls
  • Cisco wireless technologies
  • Linux administration
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPNs, and network security.
• Experience supporting production environments and critical infrastructure.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure and/or AWS.
• VMware, Ansible, Python, or automation experience.
• Relevant Cisco, Fortinet, Arista, or Linux certifications.

This role is critical to maintaining production stability, improving support coverage across multiple time zones, and eliminating single points of failure within the Infrastructure team.
