About the role:
Our starting rate for this role is $28.20/hour, with an obvious path, based on attitude commitment, and skills, up to $32.20/hour, and more for those who progress into leadership roles as these become available.
As a Team Member you are a highly vital part of our manufacturing process and (once trained) will be responsible for cooking batches, processing confectionery, coating, and packaging to our well-known customers’ requirements.
You will be required to stand for long periods. The job can be heavy, involving lifting ingredients and made products weighing up to 25kg, folding mixes, packing, and moving boxes, amongst many other things.
We help with this by putting in extra staff and rotating you through different areas throughout the day to share the load amongst the team.
We run multiple teams in 2 shifts, currently running Monday to Thursday 0245 – 1500 & 1445 – 0300.
Skills and experience
Previous FMCG experience is a bonus, but we will train all new employees.
Your can-do attitude, attention to detail, and ability to ask for help when unsure will set you up for success, remembering, that the more you learn, the more you earn.
You will need to be a punctual, time-conscious person to fit this fast-paced team environment. You will have impeccable time and attendance ethos.
Note: As safety is important to us, pre-employment drug and alcohol testing will need to be passed and the right to permanently live and work in New Zealand.
