Lead automated logistics operations at a state-of-the-art facility, ensuring safe, efficient product flow while managing teams and real-time performance.

• Initial hours 8:00am–4:00pm, transitioning to afternoon shift (2:00pm–10:00pm)

About the Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll oversee end-to-end transport operations within a highly automated logistics environment, ensuring the safe, efficient and reliable movement of products across production, warehousing and customer delivery.

You’ll lead a team of approximately 10 drivers and 3 forklift operators, managing daily operations, resolving issues in real time, and maintaining strong communication across both customers and internal stakeholders. Working across advanced systems and automation, you’ll drive performance, ensure compliance, and support continuous improvement.

What you will do:

• Oversee and coordinate all transport and logistics movements (deliveries, pickups, transfers and dispatch)
• Monitor and manage system performance across TMS, WMS and automation systems including SAP, ASRS, AGVs
• Lead and supervise a team of drivers and forklift operators, including rostering, performance and development
• Identify and resolve operational disruptions quickly and effectively
• Maintain strong communication across operations, production and customer service teams
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise throughput, efficiency and cost outcomes
• Ensure compliance with safety, COR and operational standards

You will bring:

• Experience in transport, logistics or warehouse operations
• Proven leadership experience managing frontline teams
• Strong systems knowledge (SAP, TMS, WMS or similar)
• Ability to problem-solve and manage real-time disruptions
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• A strong focus on safety, compliance and operational performance

Experience working in automated environments (e.g. ASRS, AGVs) will be highly regarded.
