SHIFT SUPERVISOR

General Description
Reporting to the Plant Superintendent, this position is responsible for the overall shift production activities production, mechanical, maintenance, shipping, etc.). Maintain production logs and monitor equipment and product to ensure all are performing within current SPI and ISO specifications. Directly supervise hourly employees in plant operations, leading, training, and advising their activities to mold a team of competent, proficient employees. Responsible for control of quality, cost, safety, productivity, efficiency and waste. Interface regularly with plant staff, product development, process engineering, vendors, customers, plant manager, cost accountant, technical group and personnel department..
