Job Description

At Chick-fil-A, we are seeking a proactive and dedicated Shift Supervisor to oversee daily restaurant operations, manage team performance, and ensure exceptional customer service. As a Shift Supervisor, you'll be a key player in maintaining our high standards, resolving customer concerns, and leading the team to success.

Responsibilities:

  • Cash Management: Handle daily cash responsibilities, including balancing registers and processing transactions.
  • Inventory Oversight: Monitor and manage daily inventory needs, ensuring adequate stock levels and ordering supplies as required.
  • Customer Service: Engage with customers to address and resolve complaints, ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Goal Management: Own and manage daily, weekly, and monthly goals to drive restaurant performance and meet targets.
  • Shift Organization: Oversee day-to-day business activities, including shift organization and addressing restaurant needs.
  • Team Management: Supervise team member performance, handle staffing needs, and address behavioral and performance issues.
  • Catering Orders: Execute catering orders and manage unique customer needs to ensure timely and accurate service.
  • Team Support: Foster a positive work environment and support team members in their roles.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Experience: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with previous management or supervisory experience preferred.
  • People Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to serving and supporting team members.
  • Customer Service: Strong dedication to superior customer service and problem resolution.
  • Performance Management: Ability to manage team member behavioral and performance issues effectively.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of computer and internet-based software and hardware is preferred.
  • Team Environment: Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting with shared ownership and responsibility.
  • Certification: State of Washington Food Handlers card (or equivalent certification can be obtained after hiring).
  • Attitude: Positive, proactive, and committed to upholding Chick-fil-A’s standards of excellence.
