Job Description

The ideal candidate is a hands-on industrial mechanic who enjoys solving complex equipment problems, performing quality repairs, and keeping operations running safely and efficiently. They bring strong mechanical and welding expertise, a safety-first mindset, and a commitment to reliability and teamwork.

Experience & abilities you will need:

• High School or equivalent.
• Trade school or vo-tech with emphasis on welding, hydraulics, and general maintenance procedures.
• Three to five years industrial mechanic and welding experience required.
• Cement plant knowledge preferred.
• Must be flexible to work shifts as needed.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Good physical condition, position requires bending, kneeling, walking, standing, climbing, stairs and lifting; high degree of manual dexterity and coordination and good eye/hand coordination.

What you will do

Make mechanical repairs on plant and quarry equipment, install new or replacement equipment. Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on plant equipment. (not an all-inclusive job description).
