Craft Pies Pizza Company is Denison’s premier destination for mouthwatering pizza creations that satisfy every craving. Our family-owned establishment takes pride in serving the Denison, TX, community with a perfect blend of traditional flavors and innovative recipes. We’re looking for a Shift Leader to join our team and help lead daily restaurant operations. In this role, you’ll work alongside the team to ensure smooth operations, exceptional guest service, and consistent adherence to Craft Pies’ standards and systems. The ideal Shift Leader is a hands-on leader who can motivate and support team members, recognize opportunities for improvement, and step in wherever needed to keep the restaurant running efficiently. You’ll help create a fun, positive, and “get better” culture while setting the example for the team through your attitude, work ethic, and commitment to our standards. Lead and support the team by filling in where needed, providing guidance, following up on performance plans, and helping team members succeed. Maintain quality, safety, and cleanliness standards by ensuring compliance with health, safety, labor, food handling, recipes, specifications, expiration dates, and Quality Assurance requirements. Oversee restaurant readiness and equipment by ensuring products are properly received, stored, and handled, while keeping equipment clean and in excellent working condition. Build a positive team culture by modeling Craft Pies’ values, maintaining a professional attitude, and fostering an environment free from intimidation, discrimination, harassment, or poor attitudes. Identify opportunities for improvement by recognizing restaurant or team member issues, recommending solutions, and helping develop plans to improve operations and performance. Support staffing needs by proactively identifying and recruiting team members who meet or exceed Craft Pies’ standards. Job Qualifications Previous restaurant leadership, supervisory, or management experience preferred. Strong ability to lead, coach, and support team members while maintaining accountability and operational standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both team members and guests. Strong understanding of restaurant operations, food safety, cleanliness, and quality standards . Ability to follow and implement company systems, procedures, checklists, recipes, and operational standards consistently. Hands-on, team-oriented leadership style with the ability to step in and assist wherever needed. Ability to identify problems, recommend solutions, and adapt to changing operational needs. Flexible availability , including days, nights, and weekends. Schedule & Location This is a full-time position based at Craft Pies Pizza Company in Denison, Texas . The position offers a flexible schedule with day and night shifts available , and weekend availability is required .
