Job Type: Part-Time-Full-Time / Flexible Hours

Pay: $17.00-$21.00/HR + perks

As a Shift Leader, you will supervise restaurant operations on a shift-by-shift basis. You will also assist the management team in providing team member support and coaching to ensure tasks are performed effectively, helping America Run on Dunkin’.Provide quality customer service in a friendly and efficient manner. Assists the Store Manager in the daily operations of the store.

Qualifications & Skills

· High School degree or equivalent, plus one to three years of fast food service experience.

· Ability to speak, read and write English.

· Good oral and written communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.

· Ability to perform basic math necessary to function within store.

· Availability to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends and various store locations within the market area.

· Food Handler (Allergen/Serve Safe Certified)* Company training is provided

· Previous experience in food service, hospitality or retail (leadership experience is a plus!)

· A positive attitude and strong communication skills

· Ability to multitask and stay cool under pressure

· Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays

· A team-first mindset and a passion for great coffee and customer service

Duties & Responsibilities (included but not limited to)

As a Shift Leader, you’ll be the go-to person during your shift, helping to:

· Positive daily routine contact with customers and other store employees.

· Respond to customer requests to purchase beverages and baked goods in an efficient and friendly manner.

· Handle cash in accordance with company policy, including daily cash reports, bank deposits and other related functions as instructed by the store manager.

· Maintain and enforce housekeeping, safety and sanitation standards in accordance with company and corporate standards.

· Oversee and/or perform the restock of supplies and products.

· Participate in company and corporate training programs and assist in the training of other store employees.

· Lead by example on techniques of suggestive sell and upsell.

· Participate in special projects as needed.

· Lead by example and support your team in delivering top-notch guest service

· Keep operations running smoothly - prepping food, managing inventory, or handling cash

· Train and coach crew members to be their best

· Ensure the store stays clean, safe, and welcoming by upholding all Food Safety, Brand, and Network standards

· Step in for the manager when needed, help make key decisions

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

Work is performed primarily in a fast-paced retail food service environment and requires adherence to all safety and sanitation standards. The position involves frequent exposure to noise, heat, odors, and wet or slippery surfaces. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to:

  • Stand and walk for extended periods, often the majority of the work shift.
  • Use hands and arms to handle, reach, grasp, operate, and clean equipment and supplies.
  • Frequently stoop, bend, crouch, climb short ladders or stools, and reach above shoulder level.
  • Occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds independently, and heavier loads with assistance.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members in English.
  • Maintain visual acuity and manual dexterity to operate POS systems, kitchen tools, and equipment safely.
  • Tolerate moderate noise levels and exposure to hot equipment, ovens, coffee machines, and other heated surfaces that may pose burn or cut risks.
  • Work in varying temperature environments, including warm kitchens and refrigerated areas.
