The Team Leader is responsible for leading a team of operators to ensure efficient and safe production processes within the chemical manufacturing plant. This role requires effective communication, problem-solving abilities, and operational knowledge to meet production targets while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Role Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations within the designated area of the plant, ensuring production goals and quality standards are achieved on time and in full.
  • Train, mentor, and support team members, fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Monitor team performance, providing feedback and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Coordinate workflows, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to maximize efficiency.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams for solutions.
  • Participate in stock counts, reconcile Raw Material stock during stock takes.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

Technical Requirements:

  • Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or relevant field.
  • 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a leadership role within the chemical industry.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with safety and quality assurance protocols.
