Shift Leader
Ensures production is performed according to Autoliv standards Oversees the production area with full responsibility for planning, organizing, and controlling activities Ensures adherence to standards of Health & Safety and Quality. Drives continuous improvement to achieve stable performance Ensure daily operations runs according to ALV standards and SQDCM targets, coordinate activities in cross functional team within own production area. Build/maintain an understanding among AMT on their area´s/lines impact on production area results. Organizes Gemba meetings (Start-up/Handover, Pulse, Kaizen, Communications and Daily SQDCM) Coordinates and balances resource between different AMTs according to priority and operator availablity Adjusts production planning in line with internal flows, customer priorities, blocked lines and blacklog, ct. Organizes shift handover meetings and communicates stoppages or other production issues as required Handles and coordinates resources to solve issues escalated by AMTs Communicates complaints or deviations received from SQDCM and participates in the complaint analyses-8D to define corrective actions Updates or validates system after change be approved (L2L or other ERP system) Plans team schedules in accordance with operator presence and approved absences Monitors and ensures timely achievement of targets, while tracking progress of improvement workshops and activities Trains and develops AMTs in both hard and soft skills, ensuring continuous improvement in their ways of working Acts as a leadership ambassador in line with Autoliv Key Behaviors, led by example Escalates problems proactively and supports measures needed to solve them
Vocational or Technical Degree Problem-solving skills (4D, PDCA, 5 WHY and ISHIKAWA)
Knowledge of 8D and data analysis People development,
inspiration and recognition Minimum 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment incl.
2 years of experience in a Gemba leadership role
Experience in setting and meeting production targets
Experience in using Lean manufacturing tools
Strong Microsoft Office skills
