We are currently hiring for a Security Shift Lead at a client site in Clifton Park, NY. This position offers an opportunity to work in a professional security environment focused on safety, access control, customer service, and team leadership. Position Available Security Shift Lead Monday through Wednesday and Friday: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thursday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM 40 hours per week $20.00 per hour Reliable transportation is required, as public transit may not align with shift hours. All candidates must possess a valid NYS Driver's License and be able to meet Securitas Safe Drive Program requirements, as client vehicles may be used for patrol duties. CPR training will be provided for candidates who do not currently hold certification. Key Responsibilities Control access to the facility and monitor vehicle drop-offs and pickups. Manage the secure entry and exit of trucks, visitors, and contractors. Conduct vehicle and foot patrols throughout the property. Document activities, transactions, and incidents using site reporting systems. Complete clear, accurate, and professional incident reports. Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with employees, visitors, and contractors. Operate security-related technology and systems. Perform duties outdoors in varying weather conditions. Provide leadership and direction to on-site Security Officers. Assist with officer training and onboarding. Support daily security operations and ensure site procedures are followed. Serve as a point of contact for officers and site leadership during assigned shifts. Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required. Valid NYS Driver's License required and ability to qualify for Safe Drive certification. Previous security experience preferred. Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure or confrontational situations. Comfortable working independently and as part of a team. Willingness to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions. Reliable transportation required.
