Job Location: American Boxboard LLC - Bedford Park, IL 60638
Salary Range: $26.00 - $32.00 Hourly

Job Shift: 2ndPurpose:  Work with supervisor for Production Department.
Reports to:  Supervisor
Conditions: Work on floor to manage Production, conduct audits and resolve Quality issues.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Human Resources
- - Enforce Safety requirements within the facility.
- - Follow and support all food safety programs, policies and PPE as designated.
- Administrative
- - Maintain daily Production and labor inputs.
- - Coordinate daily planning with Supervisor.
- - Help train all non-maintenance personnel.
- - Follow machine cleaning and zone housekeeping procedures throughout the plant.
- - Serve on the Safety Committee.
- Work Focus
- - Flexible hours to accomplish required objectives.
- - Regularly review progress with the Supervisor.
- - Preserve the safety and integrity of the Company.
- - Lead employees toward continuous improvement in systems, equipment and performance.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by Plant Manager.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Organized, detail oriented
- Understand the required compliance components for AIB, SFI and ISO
- Excellent trouble-shooting skills for Quality issues
- Competent in the use of the company’s Amtech and Quality System software and processes
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and analytical skills
- Strong continuous improvement mindset
