A Shift Lead at
Nothing Bundt Cakes ensures high-quality cake production, delivers superior guest service, and fosters a warm, welcoming, "brand-perfect" environment. Key responsibilities include leading team members, managing daily bakery operations, handling cash, maintaining strict sanitation standards, and driving sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Guest Experience: Model and enforce superior service, ensuring every guest feels welcomed.
- Operations & Quality: Oversee daily, high-quality cake production, frosting, and decoration, ensuring adherence to brand standards.
- Team Leadership: Guide and train team members, delegate tasks, and provide performance feedback.
- Administrative/Cash Handling: Manage cash drawer balances, open/close the bakery, and manage inventory.
- Maintenance: Ensure the bakery is clean, organized, and properly merchandised.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 1–3 years in a guest-facing retail, restaurant, or food service role, preferably in a lead capacity.
- Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Attributes: A positive, high-energy, "spirit of a champion" attitude.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.
