Reports to: Shift Incharge Production
To monitor and control the carbon black manufacturing process through the Distributed Control System (DCS), ensuring safe, stable, and efficient plant operations. The role focuses on maintaining product quality, process optimization, and quick response to deviations.
Operate and monitor process parameters via DCS to ensure smooth and stable production.
Respond promptly to alarms and take corrective actions to maintain quality and yield.
Adhere to all safety standards, SOPs, and Permit-to-Work (PTW) procedures.
Support troubleshooting and assist in resolving plant issues during breakdowns.
Coordinate with field operators and maintenance teams for smooth shift operations.
Record and report production data, deviations, and incidents accurately.
Support plant startups, shutdowns, and emergency handling as per SOPs.
Diploma or Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering or Process Control.
3-6 years of experience in a continuous process plant (Carbon Black, Chemical, Refinery, or Petrochemical industry).
Hands-on experience with DCS operations and process monitoring.
Experience in greenfield projects will be an added advantage.
Strong understanding of process control and optimization.
Good coordination and communication skills.
Proficiency in SAP and MS Excel.
