Worker Type: Hybrid Worker

Salary: Starting Salary is £33,673 (Level one) rising to £36,581 (Level four) per annum (pro rata for part time)

Location: Eastcroft Depot, London Road, Nottingham NG2 3AH

About the Role

Are you an experienced and confident trainer with a commitment to helping frontline colleagues work safely, effectively and to a high standard? Nottingham City Council is seeking a SHEQ Training Officer to support Resident Services by delivering professional training, competency assessments and development support across operational teams.

As a SHEQ Training Officer, you will deliver training and competency assessments for frontline staff within Resident Services, helping to ensure colleagues have the skills, knowledge and confident to carry out their roles safely and effectively. The role will work closely with the SHEQ Team, Resident Services teams, the Corporate Safety Advisory Team and Development and Change colleagues to identify training needs and deliver high quality, value for money training.

About You

You will be experienced with:-

· Delivering training sessions to frontline staff using a range of styles and methods.

· Designing, delivering and evaluating training activities and outcomes.

· Carrying out competency assessments in line with organisational requirements.

· Communicating effectively with people at different levels and motivating others.

. Using IT systems including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and database packages.

. Building positive working relationships with colleagues, partners and service teams.
