Job Description

Job purpose:

This hands-on position, reporting to the Production Manager, provides an ideal opportunity for a dynamic incumbent to implement, drive and administer and quality assurance standards, procedures, processes, and controls.

Minimum requirements:

  • Knowledge and understanding of FSC (The Forest Stewardship Council)
  • Suitable tertiary qualification in Quality Management;
  • Subject matter expert in ISO 9001:2015 & 22000, FSC and
  • Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Lead Internal Audits, Mentor and Coach.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience together with evidence of sustainable implementation/management and applicable SANS codes, ISO 9001 QMS and related company and best practice guidelines and corporate governance.
  • Experience in development and maintenance of QMS
  • Understanding of basic technical information related to self -adhesive labelling concepts & materials
  • Must be an enthusiastic team player and be results-driven.
  • A methodical approach to work and the ability to continuously pay exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent Planning and Organizing Skills with Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work according to strict deadlines on a continuous basis with accuracy and speed;
  • Excellent training and coaching skills with impeccable communication and report writing skills.
  • Good negotiation skills with a customer-oriented attitude
  • Highly presentable and professional with good interpersonal skills;
