The Sheetmetal Helper II supports field operations by assisting mechanics with the positioning, alignment, and assembly of sheet metal systems and related components. This role involves handling tools and materials, aiding in layout and installation tasks, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. The Helper is expected to anticipate the needs of the mechanic, ensure proper use and storage of equipment, and perform routine duties that contribute to overall project efficiency. The ideal candidate demonstrates initiative, reliability, and a strong willingness to learn, while consistently adhering to company policies, safety standards, and quality expectations. Physical stamina and the ability to work in outdoor and elevated conditions are essential.
Tools Required:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance, talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
