Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Sheetmetal Fabricator / Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in Henderson, Auckland. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient production of high-quality sheet metal components. The successful candidate will play a key part in our operations, contributing to the overall success of our production processes and maintaining our commitment to excellence in manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate sheet metal fabrication machines, including laser cutters, press brakes, and shears.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to produce components that meet quality standards.
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct routine maintenance on machines to ensure they are in good working order.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a sheet metal fabricator or machine operator, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with operating various sheet metal fabrication machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
