About the Role:

Floor Coverings International of Lowell is looking for an experienced Sheet Vinyl Installer to provide professional installation services for our ongoing projects in the Greater Lowell area.

We’re seeking a reliable, skilled installer with strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship. You’ll complete sheet vinyl installations directly in customer's homes, ensuring each project is completed professionally and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, and install sheet vinyl
• Prepare and level subfloors
• Apply adhesives and create clean seams
• Install transitions and trim
• Ensure quality and professional finishes
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Communicate professionally with customers

Requirements:

• Proven experience: demonstrate expertise in the flooring application that you specialize in
• Reliable transportation and tools: You must have your own transportation and tools to do the jobs you’re contracted for. Must have to ability to deliver materials to the job site and haul away waste
• Punctuality: We understand that things happen; but we want to make sure that we all agree on a time we can confidently relay that to the client
• Attention to detail: Top notch workmanship and an eye for detail
• Customer service skills: Excellent communication with a service-oriented attitude
• Proficient in English: Must be able to effectively communicate in English.

Contractor Status:

• This is a 1099 independent contractor/subcontractor position, not a W-2 employee position
• Installer will be responsible for providing their own standard tools and reliable transportation
• Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and other applicable business expenses
• Work is scheduled on a project-by-project basis based on customer needs and availability
• Compensation and project details will be discussed during the interview process

Rates

Sheet Vinyl: $5-$12 per Sq Yd
