Job Descriptions

• Production Management
  • Planned and coordinated end-to-end sheet metal production based on injection molding machine orders.
  • Managed production scheduling, capacity, and progress to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Resolved production issues including material shortages, equipment failures, and process abnormalities.
  • Controlled material consumption and production costs while improving material utilization.
  • Organized shift schedules and workforce allocation to maximize productivity.

• Quality Control
  • Implemented quality standards for incoming materials, in-process inspections, and finished products.
  • Monitored dimensional accuracy, welding quality, coating finish, and overall product appearance.
  • Led root cause analysis and corrective actions to reduce defects, rework, and scrap.
  • Coordinated with Quality and Assembly departments to improve product fit and manufacturability.

• Equipment & 5S Management
  • Managed preventive maintenance and daily inspections of fabrication and coating equipment.
  • Ensured timely equipment repairs to minimize production downtime.
  • Implemented 5S workplace standards and organized material storage for efficient workflow.
  • Maintained tooling, fixtures, and dies to improve production accuracy and efficiency.

• Personnel & Safety Management
  • Supervised employee attendance, performance, training, and skills development.
  • Conducted onboarding and technical training for new employees.
  • Enforced workplace safety regulations and daily safety briefings.
  • Promoted teamwork, resolved workplace issues, and maintained a stable production team.

• Documentation & Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Prepared daily production, capacity, material loss, and quality reports.
  • Coordinated with Engineering, Warehouse, and Assembly departments to support production.
  • Provided manufacturing feedback to improve product design and fabrication processes.
  • Implemented company policies and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
    

Job Requirements

• Diploma or above in a relevant field with at least 3 years of experience in sheet metal workshop management.
• Experience in sheet metal fabrication for injection molding machines or industrial machinery is preferred.
• Able to read and interpret mechanical sheet metal drawings.
• Proficient in laser cutting, CNC bending, welding, and powder coating processes.
• Familiar with sheet metal tolerances, flat pattern development, and manufacturing cost estimation.
• Experienced in leading teams of 10–50 employees.
• Skilled in production planning, manpower scheduling, and resolving production issues.
• Strong understanding of quality control, cost management, and productivity improvement.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, for production reporting and material consumption tracking.
• Knowledgeable in the routine maintenance of sheet metal fabrication equipment.
• Strong execution, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Committed to workplace safety and effective cross-functional coordination.
  

Location: Senai, Johor

Working Hours: Mon - Fri (9:00AM - 6:00PM), Sat (9:00AM - 1:00PM)

Salary Range: RM7,000 - 10,000
