How you will contribute:
Duties of this position would include extensive material handling, and assembling ductwork systems for heating, ventilation, & air conditioning. Sheet metal workers select the gauge and type of sheet metal according to the product being fabricated and their knowledge of metals and their properties.
What you need to qualify:
Sheet Metal Pre-Apprentice applicants must have a high school diploma or its equivalent, and must meet required norms on aptitude tests. You can stand out above other candidates by demonstrating the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment, by displaying basic mechanical skills, and having good problem-solving skills. A commitment to acquiring industry specific knowledge and displaying a positive attitude will be crucial.
