Our Darra team is looking for a passionate and knowledgeable SHE Specialist who wants to make a meaningful impact while supporting a safe, sustainable, and high‑performing chemical processing operation.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring safe operations, supporting compliance, and embedding process safety excellence into daily work. You will:

  • Lead and support Process Safety Management activities including HAZOPs, LOPAs, risk assessments, and incident investigations.

  • Strengthen compliance with legislation related to Dangerous Goods, hazardous chemicals, WHS, and environmental obligations.

  • Collaborate closely with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams to improve SHE performance and operational discipline.

  • Maintain and enhance SHE systems, training, documentation, and emergency preparedness.

  • Deliver coaching and frontline engagement to build capability and support a strong, positive safety culture.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives aligned with Ecolab’s mission to protect vital resources and maintain healthy environments.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience from industrial, manufacturing, utilities, or other process‑driven environments where safety and operational discipline matter.

  • An understanding of process safety principles, hazardous materials or dangerous goods.

  • Confident contributing to incident investigations, audits, and risk assessments, with a proactive approach to learning and improving.

  • Possess knowledge of SHE requirements or relevant legislation, or the motivation to upskill quickly with support.

  • Communicate clearly, engage well with people at all levels, and build strong working relationships across teams.

  • Bring a collaborative, curious, and improvement‑focused mindset that supports a strong safety culture.
