SharePoint Specialist

Location: Bucharest (Hybrid: 1-2 days/week on-site)

We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Specialist to lead and deliver a major migration project for one of our clients, transitioning existing SharePoint 2010/2013 environments to the latest On-Premises SharePoint Subscription Edition (SPSE) platform.

The ideal candidate combines strong SharePoint architectural knowledge with hands-on expertise in migration, customization and integration, ensuring a seamless and modernized collaboration environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, design, and execute end-to-end migrations from SharePoint

  2010/2013 to 2016/2019/SPSE
• Assess and analyze existing environments, including content databases, workflows, and custom solutions, to define optimal migration paths.
• Refactor or rebuild custom SharePoint components such as Web Parts, Workflows, and integrations.
• Identify and resolve issues related to performance, authentication, and compatibility throughout the migration process.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, migration plans, and operational procedures.
• Provide post-migration support, including user training and enhancement recommendations.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in SharePoint On-Premises administration and development.

• Proven track record managing mid to large-scale SharePoint migrations (2010/2013 2016/2019/SPSE).
• Strong understanding of ASP.NET, SharePoint Designer, and InfoPath
• Experience integrating SharePoint with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI).
• Hands-on experience with migration tools such as ShareGate or Metalogix
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a proactive, detail-oriented approach.
