The Clinical Research Unit (CRU) provides services to support 100–200 active clinical research trials across a variety of medical specialties while working closely with study team members. The lab is uniquely located on a patient floor, providing a close connection to patient care and the caregivers who provide it. As a small team, lab members develop close working relationships while contributing to the success of clinical trials that provide patients and families with hope for their conditions. This is bench-based work focused on supporting the pre-analytical activities required for clinical trials.
As a Shared Laboratory Resource Specialist I, you will independently perform a variety of laboratory activities with minimal supervision at a moderate level of scientific complexity and serve as a key support resource for operations and research customers. In this role, you will perform established procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs), maintain equipment, complete assigned duties, and participate in special projects as appropriate within the area.
A caregiver in this position works day/evening/night/weekend shifts from 7:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m. (start/end time flexes depending on business needs)
