Position Type: Full TimeMARC, Inc. of Manchester is looking for a Full-Time Manager for our Shannon's Place Day Program. The Shannon’s Place Manager is responsible for the leadership, oversight, and daily operations of the organization’s community-based day program serving individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. This role ensures high-quality, person-centered services that promote independence, community inclusion, skill development, and overall well-being. This role supervises program staff, ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, maintains strong relationships with families and community partners, and fosters a positive, inclusive program environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Program Leadership & Operations
•    Oversee daily operations of the day program to ensure safe, engaging, and person-centered services.
•    Develop and implement meaningful programming aligned with participants’ Individual Service Plans (ISPs).
•    Ensure compliance with state, federal, and funding-source regulations.
•    Monitor program quality and implement improvements as needed.
•    Manage program budget and resources responsibly.
Staff Supervision & Development
•    Interview, hire, train, and supervise direct support professionals (DSPs).
•    Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and mentorship.
•    Ensure adequate staffing ratios and coverage.
•    Promote a positive, collaborative, and inclusive team culture.
Participant & Family Engagement
•    Support person-centered planning processes.
•    Maintain regular communication with families, guardians, and case managers.
•    Address concerns in a timely, respectful, and professional manner.
•    Ensure participants’ rights, dignity, and choices are upheld at all times.
Compliance & Documentation
•    Maintain accurate documentation of services, incidents, attendance, and service notes.
•    Ensure adherence to safety standards, medication protocols, and behavior support plans.
•    Prepare for audits and program reviews.
•    Track outcomes and prepare reports as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience
•    High School diploma.
•    Minimum 3 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
•    At least 1–2 years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
•    Strong understanding of person-centered planning and positive behavior supports.
•    Knowledge of regulatory and licensing requirements.
•    Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
•    Ability to manage multiple priorities and problem-solve effectively.
•    Proficiency in documentation and basic computer applications.
•    CPR/First Aid certification, PMT certification, and DDS Medication Certification (or ability to obtain).
•    Ability to drive, have and use a personal vehicle in order to transport employees and/or self.
•    Must be able to complete all essential job duties, minimum qualifications, and physical efforts with or without a disability.
PHYSICAL EFFORTS:
•    Frequent sitting, walking, standing, and driving.
•    Ability to stand, sit, use a telephone, and type at a computer.
•    Ability to lift and transfer up to 30 lbs. and occasional lifting of nonambulatory people.
