Salary Range: $16.00 - $19.00 Hourly

We are seeking a Sewing Operator I. As a Sewing Operator I you will contribute to Wenger Corporation's strategy to provide an exceptional customer experience by the fabrication and construction of theatrical and acoustical curtains and other fabric related projects.
At minimum, you'll need:
- 1-3 years of sewing experience
- Basic math skills, including working with fractions and percentages
- Ability to lift 25-35 pounds regularly
It would be great if you also have:
- Experience operating industrial sewing machines
- Assembly line experience
As a Sewing Operator 1, a typical day might include:
- Assisting in the construction of soft goods, including but not limited to cutting, sewing, installing rivets and grommets, and folding/manipulating small to large curtain panels
- Pin hems according to specifications to ensure accuracy and quality standards
- Operate single-needle heavy-duty industrial sewing machines as required
- Handle heavy velour fabrics and related soft goods materials throughout the production process
- Follow all corporate policies
- Adhere to all shop safety rules and maintain a safe work environment
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors in English or Spanish as needed
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
