Graver Technologies is an Industrial Filter Element and Filter Housing (Vessel) Manufacturer located in Honeoye Falls, NY and a member of The Marmon Group (a Berkshire Hathaway Company), an international corporation with more than $8 billion in annual sales. We are seeking 1st and 2nd Shift Sewing Assemblers to work in our Shop to support the manufacture of Filter Housings

**1st Shift Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm (Monday-Friday) **

**2nd Shift Hours: 2:00pm-10:30pm (Monday-Friday)**

SEWING ASSEMBLER

Cut materials such as polyester, cotton, fiberglass with scissors and/or retractable blade.

Sew above materials using needle and thread.

Install pleated packs over and/or into metal and/or plastic cores.

Side Seal ends of pleated packs using a variety of methods including, but not limited to

• Gluing, using hand-held hot melt glue gun with finger trigger
• Stapling, using conventional stapler
• Sonobonding
• Installing metal clips, using hand-held pliers, vise grips, etc

Attach gaskets made of material s listed above using hot melt applicator

Perform a variety of other assembly operations.

Package the product using plastic bags, wraps, filler paper, and/or cardboard boxes, and applying labels.

Requirements of the position

High School Graduation or Equivalent

Previous Sewing and Assembly experience

Ability to read tape measure, calipers

Ability to read and be able to follow written instructions

Capability to lift and carry 30lbs for 20 feet

Normal Manual dexterity, strength, and mobility of shoulders, elbows, wrists, hands, fingers.

17.00
