Severe Needs Special Education Paraprofessional at Meadow Ridge Elementary 2026-2027

Under the direction of a licensed teacher, responsible for assisting students with special needs in a variety of academic and social settings and ensuring the students' safety and those with whom they are in contact on a daily basis. Duties also include tutoring students individually and in groups, correcting and grading student classwork, maintaining daily records of student behavior and assisting teacher in preparation of instructional materials and clerical duties.

Location: Lochbuie, CO

Education or formal training:

• High school diploma or GED Required
• Proof of either an Associate's Degree or 2 years (48 credit hours) at an institute of higher education preferred
• General background check and fingerprints required upon hire
  Experience:
• Technology experience and training preferred
• Previous work with severe needs or significant support need students preferred

Benefits/Salary:

• 8 hours per day, Monday-Friday. Approximately 169 work days per school year. Summers and Holidays off (unpaid). Pay is spread over 12 months. Acutal number of days based on start date.
• $18.00 per hour or higher based on the 2026-2027 Classifed Pay Schedule. Placement is based on experience.
