Job Title: Setup Technician Machining and Assembly
The Set-Up Technician (SUT) proactively ensures the quality of products through proper set up of machines and tools. The SUT engages in safety leadership throughout the department and ensures company safety protocols are being observed. The successful Setter needs to exhibit a sense of ownership and urgency over department production and maintaining equipment while ensuring processes and procedures are being followed in order to produce quality products. The ideal SUT needs to possess sound understanding of machines and machining principles. Additionally, the SUT must be able to read machining prints, use various measurement equipment, recover equipment and have a working knowledge of robotics. The SUT will assist, and train other operators as needed, demonstrate problem-solving capabilities and utilize company resources to maintain required production levels.
