Job Description

Main Responsibilities

  1. Regularly report day to day activity related to ship operations starting from cargo receiving activities on board.
  2. Report if there are any problems when carrying out shipping operations.
  3. Check various documents, such as delivery documents, invoices, also other documents related to shipping operations.
  4. Optimize utilisation of resources and prepare ship position updates.
  5. Update relevant stakeholders on daily task such as: ship activities, personnel, refinery and fleet changes.

Assist in safely tying up and releasing vessels (mooring and unmooring) at the jetty terminal.

  1. Monitor and support the cargo loading or unloading process to ensure it runs smoothly and safely.
  2. Inspect and maintain basic jetty equipment, such as ropes, fenders, and safety gear, before and after operations.
  3. Communicate clearly with the ship's crew and the control room to coordinate docking and departure times.
  4. Keep the jetty area clean and strictly follow all health and safety (HSE) rules at the port.

General Responsibilities

  1. Ensure the implementation of an Integrated Management System, including the identification, documentation, and control of risks in the relevant department's work area.
  2. Foster and ensure the commitment of every team member to understand and adhere to all applicable Integrated Management System requirements.
  3. Be willing to participate in the investigation process of accidents, incidents, or actions that may lead to incidents caused by unsafe actions or unsafe conditions, including providing accurate information and reports based on known facts.
  4. Be willing to engage in the information security control process applied to protect the information assets and information processing assets owned and/or managed by the Company from threats to confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

Qualifications

  1. Minimum graduated from Senior High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
  2. Have at least 1 year of hands-on experience working in jetty, port, or terminal 3. Physically fit and able to do manual outdoor work under various weather conditions.
  3. Understand basic workplace safety rules (K3/HSE) and how to use personal protective equipment (PPE).
  4. Highly disciplined, able to work well in a team, and willing to work on a day/night shift schedule.
  5. Willing to be placed in Sorong, Papua Barat.
