THE ROLE

The Settlements & Compliance Specialist plays a key role in ensuring vehicle lease settlements are processed accurately and on time, while maintaining compliance with internal policies, financier requirements and regulatory obligations. This 12-month contract is a hands-on role that combines compliance, customer engagement and operational administration, requiring someone who can confidently manage documentation, follow up stakeholders and keep settlement activities moving.

Some of your key responsibilities will be:

• Manage the end-to-end vehicle settlement process, ensuring all required documentation, insurance certificates and contractual obligations are completed accurately and on time.
• Review and validate lease agreements, finance approvals and settlement documentation to ensure compliance with company policies, financier requirements and regulatory standards.
• Proactively liaise with customers, dealerships and financiers to obtain outstanding information, resolve issues and drive timely settlement outcomes.
• Prepare and coordinate monthly compliance and settlement reporting, maintaining accurate records and supporting internal and external audit requirements.
• Support the Purchasing team with vehicle ordering and delivery processes, while building strong working relationships across Sales, Customer Experience and Operations.

ABOUT YOU

You're highly organised, detail-oriented and thrive in a structured, process-driven environment. You take pride in getting things right the first time, can confidently follow up stakeholders to obtain outstanding information, and are comfortable working autonomously while managing competing priorities.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Exceptional attention to detail and strong numeracy skills, with a focus on data accuracy and document integrity
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively, meet deadlines and service levels, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
• Confident communicator, able to build strong working relationships with internal teams, external suppliers and financiers
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word (intermediate to advanced level)

This role will suit someone who enjoys working with processes, doesn't mind repetitive tasks, and takes satisfaction in ensuring every detail has been completed correctly.
