Pay Rate: $28.00 hourly

Your daily role:

  • Inspecting and maintaining all packaging machinery to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions, validating machine settings for optimal operation
  • Cleaning, lubricating and performing routine maintenance work on machinery
  • Responding to breakdowns by adjusting machinery and repairing or replacing defective parts
  • Maintaining equipment parts lists and manuals, and various logbooks
  • Training and mentoring team members and machine operators on effective operation of packaging machines and equipment
  • Working in compliance with established Food Safety, GMP, HACCP and safe work practices; reporting any concerns to your supervisor


Your profile:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of related experience
  • Post secondary education in a related discipline
  • Skills in troubleshooting, strong mechanical aptitude, electrical knowledge
  • Familiar with packaging equipment
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and changing priorities, working independently
  • Able to work shift work and weekends
