A studio course examining the particular properties of various time-based art forms, including audio and audio installation, video and video installation, interactive performance and other time-based media used by artists. Readings, gallery visits and screenings and presentations provide background to these art practices. Students produce projects responding to assignments.

Sessional Lecturer III Long Term: $ 11,228.90

Minimum Qualifications -MA or MFA (or equivalent graduate degree) required with previous teaching experience. Strong exhibition history and currently exhibiting artist showing digital media, computational, and/or artist’s moving image art. Applicants may be asked to supply references.
Preferred Qualifications - Internationally recognized practice.
Duties - Preparation and delivery of course material; managing digital teaching materials, supervision of teaching assistants; preparation and delivery of assignments, tests, final examinations and deferred final examinations; marking of student work, submission of grades, dealing with student enquiries, appeals and petitions and student contact hours
