Dates of the Appointment: 1 September 2026 to 30 April 2027

Minimum qualifications MA degree with at least two years teaching experience.

Preferred Qualifications:Applicants for this position must have native command of Hungarian language. Knowledge of pedagogical methods of second language teaching. At least five years of experience in teaching Hungarian language.

Salary:

$ 19,994.95, inclusive of 4% vacation pay (Sessional Lecturer I)

$ 21,398.43, inclusive of 6% vacation pay (Sessional Lecturer I LT)

$ 21,398.43, inclusive of 6% vacation pay (Sessional Lecturer II)

$ 21,907.92, inclusive of 6% vacation pay (Sessional Lecturer II LT)

$ 21,907.92 inclusive of 6% vacation pay (Sessional Lecturer III)

$ 22,457.80, inclusive of 6% vacation pay (Sessional Lecturer III LT)

Brief Description of Duties:planning and setting goals of the course, preparing lectures, teaching in class, holding office hours, designing and administering tests as appropriate, reading and grading course papers, providing students with adequate feedback.
