Students are introduced to the foundational elements of acting, vocal, and physical training. In a studio setting, students undertake practical exercises focused on establishing fundamental skills, physical grounding, and professional behaviours In addition, the course familiarizes students with the backstage and front-of-house working environment of a professional theatre. The course includes production-related duties assigned according to individualized schedules, typically concentrated in 3- to 6-week periods and including some work in the evenings and/or on weekends.

SL1 - $19,994.95 per full course = $4,998.73
SL2 - $21398.43 per full course = $5,349.61
SL2LT- $21,907.92 per full course = $5,476.98
SL3LT - $21,907.92 per full course = $5,476.98

Duties All normal duties related to the design and teaching of a university credit course, including preparation and delivery of course content; development, administration and marking of assignments; calculation and submission of grades.
Minimum Qualifications BFA/BA in Acting and/or Theatre; strong evidence of established and ongoing professional experience; currency in contemporary approaches to teaching acting grounded in improvisation and/or clown, particularly techniques derived from approaches based in Lecoq training; clear evidence of teaching expertise.
