Course Code and Title: CSCD01H3 - Engineering Large Software Systems
Course Description: An introduction to the theory and practice of large-scale software system design, development, and deployment. Project management; advanced UML; requirements engineering; verification and validation; software architecture; performance modeling and analysis; formal methods in software engineering.

Qualifications: Previous teaching experience as the instructor of a Computer Science course at the 4th-year university level or higher (required). NOTE: Rate of pay is $14,126.00 per half-course, higher than the posted amount.
Duties: All normal duties related to the design and teaching of an IN PERSON university credit course, including preparation and delivery of course content; development, administration and marking of assignments, tests and exams; calculation and submission of grades; submission of a deferred exam; holding regular office hours; supervising TAs assigned to course.
Estimated TA Support (Hours): Up to 60 hours per tutorial; exact hours TBD.
Sessional dates of appointment: September 8 - December 31, 2026
Salary: Sessional Lecturer I $9,997.48

Sessional Lecturer II $10,669.22
